Zoe Saldana was born on the 19th of June, 1978, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her father is Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. She was born in Queens. In 2010, she relocated with her family to the Dominican Republic where they spent the next 7 years. Zoe noticed a strong desire to perform dances when in the United States.
